Hi Yall!!
It's youth camp time!! I'm super excited!!! I can't wait to see that sign that says Table Rock!! I've been praying for huge blessing this year. As far as I know, we are a packed out camp!! That is always encouraging to know that people have heard about our camp and want to come.
I really hope and pray that we see souls saved and commitments to follow Christ. I am REALLY excited!! I was talking to a friend yesterday and we both got excited talking about praying for camp and wanting souls to be saved. It's going to be an amazing camp this year. I know I plan to go get help from the Lord and I will get it. God has always been so good to me and I could never thank him enough. Sure I've gotten a little sidetracked at times but God has never once not loved or forsaken me. That's how God is. He's there in my tough times, when I'm super excited to get away from the world for a week, and there when I need Him. That's just the way God is!! He is so amazing, wonderful, caring, forgiving, and most of all loving!! I can't wait to see Him in Heavan!! That time will be so breathtaking. All I want to do is praise him for all He has done for me. God is so good!!
Can you tell I'm excited about what God is going to do for me this week? I so can't wait!!!!

Tuesday 6/23
Hi Yall!!
Yeah, yeah, I know it's been awhile. So much has happened. I stayed with Papa and Granny last week; went on a really long and loud car trip, and got major sunburned helping with the youth group carwash. I've been pretty busy. Class starts in a few minutes but I don't feel like walking in the sun again. It hurts too much.
I wish summer school was over. I so do not like going to a night class only to be bored out of my mind. It's horrible. Last Tuesday night me and a couple of my friends from class ate out after class was over. I suggested El Patron. Oh, it was sooooooooo good. I love me some Mexican food!!!
I stayed with my Papa and Granny from Wednesday night til Sunday. Me and Granny went shopping as usual. I got 2 new skirts, a couple of books for my Dad, a nice pair of black dress sandals, a fitted sheet for camp, and 3 books for myself. I think I did pretty good!! I always love going shopping with my Granny!!
Friday I had to go on a long car trip with my sister because she was taking one of her friends to meet up with her friend's husband. Her friend has 2 children, one is 3 and the other will be 1 in next week. Well, let's just say this-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
Saturday my youth group hosted a carwash. I was outside close to 7 hours. I got a horrible sunburn and it's still kinda painful today. I feel like I'm wearing one of those facial masks. LoL!! We were able to wash a Dodge Challenger which was totally awesome!! Even though we were burnt and exhausted-we had fun!!
I mmight not be able to post anything next week-it's TRYC time!! I'm totally excited. I know God is going to do a great work!!

Thursday 6/11/09
Hi Yall!!!
I'm at school again waiting on my class to start. I have like 20 minutes. So anyways, we had another monsoon this afternoon. It poured down like there was no tomorrow. LoL!! Believe it or not, it was over in like 15 or 20 minutes!! I was glad because I didn't have to walk in the rain here at school.
Lets see...my Uncle Nathan's church is in revival this week. My Dad is preaching tonight but since I have class, I can't go. We all went Monday night. Landan wasn't feeling too good but he was glad to see me. I had him after church and I told him that if he asked Uncle Mitchell (my Dad) for a dollar, he would get one. Well, Landan did to my surprise. I was like wow Landan. He looked at my Dad and said Hey, Mitchell give me a dollar. So my Dad was like ok...He got a dollar out and gave it to Landan. I looked at Landan and said see I told ya. I hope this doesn't mean that he will ask my Dad every time he sees him for a dollar. That would be funny!! Oh, after my Dad gave him a dollar my brother gave Landan a dollar as well. To Landan, he was reallllly rich. Good thing his brother wasn't awake or Landan would have to share it with him. I'll have to put the picture I took of Landan during church on here. It's hilarious.
Good news about TRYC-I was able to get full permission to do a game night at camp!!! I'm so excited!! Me, my sister, and two of my really good friends are helping me get it all together and helping me that night. We're the hostesses!!! LoL!! It's going to be a really fun night!! I can't wait!! Plus us girls are having a party afterwards-it's going to be great. I'm hoping this party will bring us closer and to catch up on each others lives. It's been crazy this past year-it's like I don't know my friends anymore. I've been really busy with school. Speaking of school class starts in like 10 minutes. Guess I'll go for now!!

Thursday 6/4
Hi Yall!!
Today was a rather busy day. Maybe I should say this week has been rather busy. I thought I would be able to sleep in this week since I finished that maymester class...uh, no. I did a lab observation at a child development center this spring and I let them know I would be free this summer but to let me know in advance when to come.
Well, the advance notice I got was 8:30 A.M. Monday morning. I was asked to come in by 9:15 to help with the preschool graduation. I had no idea who these children were or what most of their names were. I was totally clueless when I walked in. Thankfully this place is 10 minutes away from my house. I got there and the students were like who are you, what's your name, why are you here...yeah, they had no clue I was coming. We went through the practice and then I thought I could leave. I thought wrong. It seemed like I was needed everywhere. I stayed with the 2's until their lunch time was over, ate lunch with the 3's and went back to their room. DSS regs need 2 teachers in a classroom over the ratio limit so I was picked to go in their room. I stayed almost the whole time.
Then, Tuesday morning I got there bright and early for the graduation practice. After practice, I got my lunch thinking I was staying again but I got to go home at 1!! I was so happy since I had a night class that night. I didn't go yesterday because the class had a fieldtrip.
Today was the big day. I was surprised when I walked in and all the students said hey Miss. Mary. I was like wow yall remembered my name too bad it was the last I would see them as a class. Graduation went great. I was shocked. Then, I stayed with the 3's class since there was an overflow of students [DSS regs again] and went to lunch with them. I was able to leave after the 2 "real" teachers got back. Me and another fill in were able to leave.
These three days were great because I got paid to come!!

Hi Yall!!
I'm sitting here waiting on my night class to start. It's been a crazy day and week so far. I've been really tired. Thankfully, my morning class is over this Friday. I couldn't be happier!! I'm not a big fan of gettin up early just to sit in a classroom for a couple of hours. Not my cup of tea.
Oh, here's some funnies from this week. Sunday evening, during church, I was changing a little boy's diaper...yeah, he peed everywhere including on ME. I had thrown a wipey on him but he jerked it off and preceded to soak me. I laughed the whole time. I think it scared him really bad though. Monday, my cousin and I must have been on the same brain wave. We said and did most everything at the same time. It was crazy. We ate something at every place we went to. I got a little nauseated on the way home from all the junk food we ate. Then, today...I kicked one of my friend's roller bookbag. Well, she turned around, gave me a scary look, and started chasing me. She scared me to death. I was like AHHHHHHHHH...don't kick other people's bookbags, they might chase you. After she chased me, we both bout died from laughing so hard. One of my other friends was with me so she bout lost it right when I got chased. It's been a crazy week so far!!
My mom fixed some kind of weird meat tonight for supper. It was so spicy and sooo good. I love my food to be spicy. I would have eaten another piece of it but, I had to get up here to school. I might eat another piece when I get home after class...it will probably make me sick but hey, it's good!!
I have some crazy pictures I'll post later of my little cousin. He decided to hang out with me this past Sunday. Me, Landan, and my brother Joe, were walking in the back yard when Joe asked him if he had allergies. Being the young and unlearned kid Landan is, he said yes I do. Well, I came up with a healing ceremony. Random, I know but so funny. I told Landan he had to lick the juice from a honeysuckle and eat a plum. He didn't want to eat the plum so I told him another way was to throw it in the swimming pool. The swimming pool is in the neighbor's back yard and not used anymore. Landan threw the plum in the swimming pool. We started up the hill towards the house and I told Landan he was healed. I told him to say glory. He started running and said "GORY"...not GLORY but GORY. I cracked up. And yes, Landan is the one without the best balance so he fell as he was saying GORY!!! That cracked me up even more. I told him to go inside and tell everyone and he said oh yes and did just that.
Well, I'm about to head to class. I'll try to post those pictures sometime this week. I put one of them as the background for the laptop and on my phone. He takes some crazy pictures.

Wednesday Afternoon
Hi Yall!!
It's been like forever since I've posted anything on here. I have been extremely busy. I finished my Spring semester a couple of weeks ago, had 3 days off, then started my Summer classes. So far, it's been good!!
The Spring semester was a hard one thanks to those 6 [3hr] classes plus that 8-2 lab and 8:30-whenever lab. In all, I had a great time. Through all the papers, projects, inclass work, notebooks, and busy work-I made it!!
I'm taking 2 summer classes; a maymester [every morning til May 29] and a full semester [every Tuesday and Thursday night]. I'm enjoying myself and learning so much!!

Tuesday
Hi Yall!!
Today has been an interesting day. I had to run to catch the CAT bus this morning. I laughed the whole time. LoL!! When I got to class I knew it was going to be a rough 3 hours. My instructor came in all happy and I was like oh no, not a good sign. Thankfully I had cut a large piece of paper into 4 little sheets so i could draw and have enough paper without having to get up and get more. LoL!! One of the ladies in my class handed a notebook with 6 or 7 math problems on them; it was her son's work and she didn't know how to do it. So, while the instructor was giving her detailed lecture, I either colored for a few minutes or I did math problems. I left class after a couple of hours and got home in time to have some lunch and to get ready for the tonight's class. Speaking of tonight's class, it wasn't as bad as last week. LoL!! It was actually fun!! I've got to find some articles to review for tomorrow's class.

Sunday and Monday
Hi Yall!!
Sunday was a tiring day. After a full week of school plus that snow tubing rip off trip, I was exhausted. Me and Erica went on our walk again. I think by summer time we'll be skinny again. LoL!! We do the powerwalk deal. LoL!! It's fun and we get to catch up on each other's lives. Oh, my wonderful cousin Seth came to Granny's yesterday!! I was soo happy to see him!! I love him alot. His mom's mom aka Memaw isn't doing too well. After church last night I called Nicole to talk to her for a few minutes and as usual got her voice mail. She called back but I ignored it. LoL!! We're so nice to each other. I ended up talking to her almost a hour. We bout fell asleep while we were talking. LoL!! She's calling me again tonight so I've got to get some rest before she does. LoL!!
Today has been great so far. During class this morning I mentioned to the class about a fear I had to overcome which happened to be driving. The thought of getting behind the wheel of a car was horrible enough. I told the class how my family encouraged me and helped me overcome my fear of driving. Now, I love to drive!! LoL!!

Friday and Saturday
Hi Yall!!
These past 2 days have been busy. From my lab yesterday morning to singing at a coffee shop to snow tubing today-it's been very tiring.
Friday: I got up some time before 7 and got my things ready for my lab with my 3 year olds! We had a Valentine's Day party. I helped some of the children put their valentines in the other's valentine's boxes. It was soo sweet watching them matching up the names on the cards and boxes. Well, we all sat down for the big group time and who comes in...one of my instructors from Tech. She came to observe me during my lab time. Before she left, she told me that I did really well with my discipline stratagies and I had good eye contact with the children. She was surprised they took direction from me because I've only been there 3 times. My little kids love me especially the girls and most of the guys. LoL!! I have a little trouble with some of the guys but that is to be expected! I enjoyed the day with them!!
Well, after I got home I had to pack for the snow tubing trip to Scaly Mountain. My family and I were going to stay at my Granny and Papa's house because it's somewhat closer to GA. Anyways, before we could get to their house, we had an appointment to sing at a community "supper club" aka a bunch of elderly people who meet in a building to sing and eat. A girl from church came to help us out. Well, we were almost there when Daddy got a phone call from one of the bookstore owners he knows. The man wanted us to come sing at his coffee house that is connected to his bookstore. We went there after we sang at the "Supper Club." Let's just say it was a random but fun adventure oh and don't eat BK late at night unless you don't mind not feeling the best for the rest of the night or the next day.
Well, after we finshed our singing tour of the night, we dropped the girl from church off at her house and headed to Granny and Papa's house. They were glad to see us. Since I was tired thanks to my full day, I went to bed early but of course didn't or couldn't go to sleep. Papa and my 2 brothers started playing game after game of UNO. Papa of course beat the snot out of them because he's Papa!! LoL!! He's good at every game he plays because he's very competitive and smart!! LoL!! He also is mean. LoL!! He knows how to play rough and makes you feel stupid but it's fun and all we do is sit around and laugh. My Papa is awesome!! My Granny is too!! Anyways, since Papa gets rather loud while he plays any game, I didn't fall asleep until Granny came through the house telling them to get in the bed. It was after 1 AM. LoL!! We are the late nighters!! LoL!!
Saturday: We had to wake up early this morning. It was rough. Since some of the people from my church were going on the snow tubing trip, we all met at Granny and Papa's house at 7:45 and were to leave by 8. I got out of bed around 10 after 7, got dressed, brushed my teeth, and walked around with bedhead. LoL!! I poured me some of Granny's SWEET tea and that made the day tons better. Idk what I would do if I didn't have my Granny's awesome SWEET tea. LoL!! Anyways, we left the house and traveled to Scaly Mountain for snow tubing. It was fun except when the boys from church decided to take me down the hill with them. I held one of the guy's hand the times I went with them. LoL!! The last time I went down, the guy decided to let go and pushed me the rest of the way. I was going down that hill backwards and all the other guys did was laugh at me. My Mom got a picture of it. LoL!! After we left Scaly Mountain, we went to Shoney's for lunch. Since the restrooms were disgusting at the Scaley Mountain place, I changed my clothes on the way to Shoney's. It's amazing what you can do with 2 blankets, a built in DVD player, and 4 hanger hook things. LoL!! I had a little mobile dressing room. LoL!! After we ate at Shoney's, we went to Whistle Stop. I love that place. Me and 2 guys from church looked through the antique mall there. That was an interesting time. LoL!!
When we finally got home, I was sooo happy to be back!! I checked on the puppies and even got to really hold one. We have 4 boys and 2 girls. The runt is one of the girls. She's a tiny little puppy. The other ones are huge. LoL!! I held one of the huge ones!! I love those little puppies. They recognize my voice because I talk to them for awhile everyday. They are adorable!!
I'm so glad I'm home!!!

Let's just say it was a random but fun adventure oh and don't eat BK late at night unless you don't mind not feeling the best for the rest of the night or the next day.
Well, after we finshed our singing tour of the night, we dropped the girl from church off at her house and headed to Granny and Papa's house. They were glad to see us. Since I was tired thanks to my full day, I went to bed early but of course didn't or couldn't go to sleep. Papa and my 2 brothers started playing game after game of UNO. Papa of course beat the snot out of them because he's Papa!! LoL!! He's good at every game he plays because he's very competitive and smart!! LoL!! He also is mean. LoL!! He knows how to play rough and makes you feel stupid but it's fun and all we do is sit around and laugh. My Papa is awesome!! My Granny is too!! Anyways, since Papa gets rather loud while he plays any game, I didn't fall asleep until Granny came through the house telling them to get in the bed. It was after 1 AM. LoL!! We are the late nighters!! LoL!!
Saturday: We had to wake up early this morning. It was rough. Since some of the people from my church were going on the snow tubing trip, we all met at Granny and Papa's house at 7:45 and were to leave by 8. I got out of bed around 10 after 7, got dressed, brushed my teeth, and walked around with bedhead. LoL!! I poured me some of Granny's SWEET tea and that made the day tons better. Idk what I would do if I didn't have my Granny's awesome SWEET tea. LoL!! Anyways, we left the house and traveled to Scaly Mountain for snow tubing. It was fun except when the boys from church decided to take me down the hill with them. I held one of the guy's hand the times I went with them. LoL!! The last time I went down, the guy decided to let go and pushed me the rest of the way. I was going down that hill backwards and all the other guys did was laugh at me. My Mom got a picture of it. LoL!! After we left Scaly Mountain, we went to Shoney's for lunch. Since the restrooms were disgusting at the Scaley Mountain place, I changed my clothes on the way to Shoney's. It's amazing what you can do with 2 blankets, a built in DVD player, and 4 hanger hook things. LoL!! I had a little mobile dressing room. LoL!! After we ate at Shoney's, we went to Whistle Stop. I love that place. Me and 2 guys from church looked through the antique mall there. That was an interesting time. LoL!!
When we finally got home, I was sooo happy to be back!! I checked on the puppies and even got to really hold one. We have 4 boys and 2 girls. The runt is one of the girls. She's a tiny little puppy. The other ones are huge. LoL!! I held one of the huge ones!! I love those little puppies. They recognize my voice because I talk to them for awhile everyday. They are adorable!!
I'm so glad I'm home!!!

Wednesday and Thursday
Hi Yall!!
I was soo tired yesterday and didn't get to blog. Anyways, yesterday was a great day. Well, it was until I got my first test from my 107 class. I screwed up the first page. Idk what I was thinking; It seems like I wasn't thinking at all. LoL!! I got a 82-not cool. The good part of class was the cutting and pasting time. LoL!! We made our own bingo cards for the sign language bingo game and then a study sheet for our 2nd test. LoL!! We had fun!!
Today was a fun day-I went to my 8-2 lab. The day went by fast. Caitlyn let it be known she hated Valentine's Day, love made her crazy and she didn't like that. LoL!! K'nydren asked if V-day was a love day. Both comments cracked me up. Then K'nydren asked me why I knew his name so good. I told him I had alot of practice...lol. At lunch, Chris pushed an apple slice on his teeth and smiled at me. I lost it; it was so funny. I went to my first teacher meeting today. Since I'm not one of the teachers, I didn't talk at all. LoL. The school I'm at is the top school as far as the kindergarten program. We're awesome!!! Oh, before lunch my instructor showed up to observe me. I didn't know she was there until we started cleaning the room up before we went to lunch. After she left, some of the other teachers were commenting on how nice Mrs. H. was towards us, them, and any of the children that came up to her. I'll have to tell her that tonight when I go to class. LoL!! I guess it will make her feel good!!
Tomorrow I'll be with my 3 year olds. Then I'll be home for a little while before we head up to a supper club singing thing then to Granny and Papa's!! We're going snow tubing saturday with people from the church and friends from GA. I'm excited. Well, I'm going to take a quick nap before I have to head to class.

Tuesday
Hi Yall!!
Boy, it's been a day. I had a confusing class this morning thanks to one of the ladies in my class. After my instructor would say something that would make some sense, that lady would some comments and totally confuse us. It was crazy. The people at my table was like come on lady shut up, you don't know what you are talking about. She got on our last nerves. She tried but it wasn't good enough. I was so confused whenever she would start talking.
Anyways, after class was over I talked to my instructor aka my advisor about my remaining classes. I have 7 classes left at Tech then I'm out of there. I'm so ready to leave. That place has really tired me out. I was so happy when she gave me the card that had those 7 classes on it. One of my friends let me know I could borrow one of her books for my MGT 120 class!! Even better!! Woohoo!!
Then, I got on the CAT bus for the ride home. Once again it was a really peaceful ride unlike the city bus. A crazy man got on the city bus and sat next to me and another lady. He talked to himself in different voices plus he laughed really creepy like. I called my Mom and asked her if I could get off at the mall because that man was creeping me out. We made a stop and several people got out so me and that lady moved to different seats; away from that weird man. I got off at the mall, looked in 2 stores, then Mama came and I got in her van. When I got home, I had a hour before I had to leave for my night class. I rode the CAT bus again and Ms. Marty was on there. She is my CAT bus buddy!! We've had some interesting talks.
Anyways, I got to class. We had a test tonight which I didn't study for but since I've taken like 100 ECD classes, it was like a review. LoL!! My friend Michelle showed up which really surprised me. Her BF made her move out after only a week since she moved in. He said some really bad stuff to her and she was majorly upset which I don't blame her. Anyways, my instructor gave us 3 options: watch the rest of the video and finish the discussion then take the test and leave, don't finish the video and only do the discussion then take the test and leave, or just take the test. We all chose to just take the test and leave. LoL!! The instructor takes forever explaining her point and we didn't want to wait til after her very detailed lecture to take our test. Class started at 5:40 and we all were gone by 6:20. LoL!!
After Mama picked me up, I drove us to Pete's [one of the best restaurants ever] for our supper!! As usual it was wonderful!! I get the cheeseburger plate [w/ all fries] plus SWEET tea for a lil over $4. It's delicious!!! After we left Pete's, we went to Walmart. I got something I've been wanting for awhile: Grape Kool-aid and Ginger Ale. My Granny use to make us "spiked" Kool-aid when we were little and I've been wanting some!! I'm bout to go make it!! Oh Yeah!!!

Hi Yall!!
Today was crazy. Since my Dad was going to a college that is close to Tech, he drove me to school. I got up a hour after I usually do which totally threw me off schedule. I left my cell phone at home so I couldn't get in touch with my Mom to tell her when I was on my way home; plus I left my observation sheets at home. Class went great today though. Oh, I saw Meagan again today; she showed me the pics of her friend Nikki's baby. He was born a week ago!!
The ride back to Anderson was interesting. Well, just the city bus; the catbus was peaceful compared to the city bus ride. Today seemed like "Use Your Cussing Mouth" day. There were a diverse people on that city bus. 2 guys had 2 cases of each 12 and 18 packs of beer. I was like how can somebody drink that much beer?!? A total waste of money. Plus, the kids who think "they are the best hot stuff in the world and nothing can't stop them" were on the bus. The city bus was packed out today. Right before we pulled to the stop at the mall, a lady got on. She had several and I mean several knife cuts on her arm where she had been cutting herself. It made me sick to see someone like that. The city bus ride today made me realize how thankful and blessed I am to be a Christian and to be in a Christian homelife. God has been so good to me. I am so thankful that I have grown up in church plus have family and friends who care about my life. You don't realize how blessed you are until you see others that have that look of hopelessness in their eyes. I am so glad God has given me hope and assurance that I can make it every day and live in His will.

Hi Yall!!
Today was one of those random days. Multiple times, I felt like I was going to throw up; totally not a great feeling. Anyways, me and Erica went for a LONG walk. We walked to her school which is down the road from Granny and Papa's house. We sat on the swings over 30 minutes and boy was it hard walking back. LoL!! We were so tired because we had been relaxing too long. LoL!! Erica's parents and Emily drove up beside us while we were walking back and Erica got in their car; they asked if I wanted to ride back to Granny's with them but I told them I would walk to rest of the way. I made it back and sat down in one of the recliners and went to sleep. It was a wonderful nap!! Then, after church tonight we had cake and ice cream which I didn't eat because the smell was making me sick. Whenever I smell something really sweet, it always makes me sick. Well, I'm about to head to bed. I've got to get up early in the morning to get to school. Btw, I'm starting to get really tired this semester. I took on too much too soon. I'll make it through if I can find the time to get some sleep...but then again what is sleep?! LoL!!

Friday and Saturday
Hi Yall!!
I was so exhausted last night that I didn't blog. LoL!!
I had my twelve 3 yr olds yesterday morning. It was a fun day. One of the little boys came to the home living center where I was at and said to me "Honey, I'm home!!" LoL!! I cracked up. He told me that he had a busy day at work catching and killing bugs. The bugs were from the science center. LoL!! I had alot of fun with my kids yesterday. Then after a full day, my family and I went out to eat for my Dad's 51st birthday at the best restaurant ever: Creekside!! Then we went to a revival service in Westminister. Nicole was there. LoL!!
Today hasn't been a great day for me. I woke up in the middle of the night and could not go back to sleep for a few hours thanks to pains in my gut. LoL!! I finally fell asleep sometime after 6 then I got up after 10. Me and Elisabeth (my sister) went to our friends's (Stephens and Christina) lil boy's first birthday party. Kolben loved his cake!! He tore into it stuffing big handfuls in his mouth. I got some pictures of him having a great time. After some of Stephen's family, I took Beans (Kolben's nickname) outside to play. He enjoyed that. Me and Elisabeth left and now we are heading to GA for a youth service. My Dad is preaching. Plus, we'll be seeing Nicole again since the service is at her stepdad's church!!

Hi Yall!!
I had my first 8-2 lab today. It was a totally new experience for me. I walked in, started helping the assistant and a little boy puked. It wasn't 8:15 yet. LoL!! I helped him to the trashcan. After he was finished, the teacher took him to the nurse's office and his father came and got him. After that incident, the day seemed like nothing. LoL!! I helped in all the different centers; mainly in the writing and math center. The kids seem to like me. I like it there. Both the teacher and the assistant are Christians which makes me feel good!! I knew there was something different about them and now I know; they are Christians!! I am looking forward to working with them this semester. Oh, I mistaken one of the girls for a boy. I almost made her go in the boy's restroom line when I realized I didn't know her name. So, I waited until I got back to the room and heard what the teacher called her. Then, when I was about to leave, I called Daddy to see where he was. That same girl asked if I was calling my husband. LoL!! Too funny!! Tomorrow I get to see my 3 year olds again!!

Hi Yall!!
After being blinded by the sun here at Tech, I thought today would be a picture blog. These are the pictures I took this past Sunday. Holland, Landan, Emily, Andrew, and Erica were the ones that got their pictures taken. LoL!! Hope you enjoy!! Oh, I think Nicole is coming to my church tonight!! Woohoo!! Plus the good news of the day: my lab placement finally came!!! I've been waiting 2 weeks to find out where I'm suppose to be and now I finally get to go!!! I'm soo excited!! I start in the morning!!

Hi Yall!!
I felt icky for most of the day. I didn't go to my morning class because it was soo hard to get up and I didn't feel too well. Tonight I went to my ECD 132 class. It's suppose to be Creative Experiences where we get to do creative stuff but so far the only creative things I've had to do is come up with ways to fall asleep without getting caught. LoL!! It straight lecture. The instructor goes out on 30 different trails to tell one point. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get through 5 [count that:FIVE and only 5 out of 14] powerpoint slides. Totally ridiculous; I about fell asleep countless times but my friend Michelle would make a noise or hit me. She about fell asleep too. I even left for a few minutes to make a couple phone calls just to keep me awake. LoL!! I finally got home after leaving class and a trip to walmart.
Since I totally forgot to tell yall about those "life lessons" I gave Holland on Sunday...
We were having a picnic Sunday afternoon when Holland decided he was going to put some rather large sticks on the neighbor's property. I told him to move them and he said he wouldn't. I remembered that I needed to explain why he needed to move them. LoL. I told him that if he wanted to be able to play on the neighbor's backyard anymore he should move the limbs. Mr. Jerry has issues with us grandkids leaving unnecessary things in his yard. [yes, I know from past experiences] Anyways, Holland thought about it for a minute or two and decided that he would move them off Mr. Jerry's property so we wouldn't get in trouble. Another of the "life lessons" was the race issue. He would quit if he was not the leader. I had to tell him that if he wanted to be the winner he should keep trying and not to give up. It took a few more races before that got to him. After me, Erica, and Emily went on the walk and came back, Granny told me that Holland came in while we were gone and told her that I was bossy. Thankfully this time my Granny told him that I was looking out for him and that he should listen to me. Usually she's on his side when it comes to me having to tell Holland what to do. LoL!!

Sunday and Monday
Hi Yall!!
Since yesterday was a busy and tiring day-I didn't blog! LoL!
Sunday was a great day!! And as usual, I watched the grandkids. I took Emily, Holland, and Landan outside for a "snack picnic" and to play a ring toss game and racing!! Sounds simple? Uh, NO!! Landan kept running off with the picnic basket, Emily followed the game and racing directions, and Holland...well I had to teach him a few life lessons. Then, after going inside and asking to go on a walk-Me, Emily, and Erica went on a walk. I think we walked a good 3 if not 4 miles at a fast pace. We got back to Granny's extremly tired and thirsty. After soaking our feet in HOT bubbly water-we felt tons better. Both church services were great. I got home and got a phone call from one of my bestest GA friends, Nicole. I talked to her over a hour. When we finally hung up, we were laughing thanks to being really sleepy. LoL
Today was an ok day. Mama drove me to Tech bc I thought I missed the CAT bus; but I didn't. LoL!! I walked to my classroom and talked to all my friends there then I felt someone staring at me. It was my friend Colie [she goes out with my great friend Seth C.]; I totally forgot to meet her outside to buy a candybar from her to help with a fundraiser. I got the candybar and ate it. LoL. Class went great and I came home and totally conked out. I'm now talking to Nicole again. LoL.
Since yesterday was a busy and tiring day-I didn't blog! LoL!
Sunday was a great day!! And as usual, I watched the grandkids. I took Emily, Holland, and Landan outside for a "snack picnic" and to play a ring toss game and racing!! Sounds simple? Uh, NO!! Landan kept running off with the picnic basket, Emily followed the game and racing directions, and Holland...well I had to teach him a few life lessons. Then, after going inside and asking to go on a walk-Me, Emily, and Erica went on a walk. I think we walked a good 3 if not 4 miles at a fast pace. We got back to Granny's extremly tired and thirsty. After soaking our feet in HOT bubbly water-we felt tons better. Both church services were great. I got home and got a phone call from one of my bestest GA friends, Nicole. I talked to her over a hour. When we finally hung up, we were laughing thanks to being really sleepy. LoL
Today was an ok day. Mama drove me to Tech bc I thought I missed the CAT bus; but I didn't. LoL!! I walked to my classroom and talked to all my friends there then I felt someone staring at me. Hey Yall!!
Today was a really busy day. I got up shortly after 8 and made 42 pancakes for my sister and 2 brothers. LoL!! And of course, we didn't eat all of them. Anyways, we got ready to go to my friend's wedding. It was interesting; let's leave it at that. Then me and my sister went to the retirement party of the amazing administrator of our high school. Dr. Wilkins is an great man of God and willing to help others. I love him!! I got to see alot of old friends plus my first teacher I had at the school. I had a great time; I laughed alot!!

Hi Yall!!
TGIF!!! It's been one long interesting week!! I'm so glad it's Friday!!!
Today I went for my first 3 hour lab!! I absolutly love it. I'm in a class of eleven 3 year olds. Let's just say they keep ya on your toes!! I have a fan club of 4 girls and 2 boys. Katie Grace, Ella Cate, Abbi, and Taylor are my girls; Ayush and Conner are my lil guys. I learned that Fridays are show and tell days so next week I'll have to take something. I might take a picture of our new puppies...lol!! I have to get permission to be able to take/post pictures of my kids so I don't have pictures to share today. I adore my lil kids!!! I can only imagine what the other lab will be like...lol!!

Hi Yall!!
My Instructor for my ECD 243 class told me yesterday that I didn't have to go to lab today!! I was super excited!! LoL!! The school district hadn't called my instructor or my advisor back so I didn't have to wake up at 6 this morning and meet children I have no clue about. LoL!! I hope I have a lab next week-I don't want to get too far behind with the assignments.
So, today I slept in which was absolutly amazing!! LoL!! It's been a great day so far. I have a night class tonight but hopefully it won't last the whole 3 hours!!
Here's the funny of the day:
I fell down the steps of the bloodmobile. I laughed. It was soo me!! I scrapped my right knee a lil. I thought there was just one step but it turns out there were 3 and I totally missed them. LoL!! Totally cracked me up!!

Tuesday and Wednesday
Hi Yall!!
Yes, I totally forgot to blog yesterday. lol!! Anyways, I had a great Tuesday though. My dog had puppies yesterday. They are adorable. I'll post pics and videos later.
Today was a day to overcome one of my fears: I donated blood!! The AnMed bloodmobile was at school and I got enough courage to give blood. I was so glad I did!! The only time it hurt was when the lady pricked my finger. lol. My friend Cole waited outside for me and made sure I didn't pass out. lol. Here's the pictures I took.

Hi Yall!!
I so did not want to get up this morning. When my alarm rang this morning, I was like I know I don't have to get up yet?!? But of course I had to. I got up and dressed for school. I think this morning was the first morning in a LONG time that I wasn't frozen when I got to my classroom at Tech!! LoL!! Most mornings I can count on the water in my amazing PINK VS blue water bottle to be freezing cold just walking between the library and the building my classroom is in! LoL!! [that's weird south weather for ya] Well, this morning's class flew by thanks to my Mt. Dew!! LoL!! I know not to drink it at night but in the morning-you better believe I'll drink one to keep me awake!! LoL!! Anyways, the class lecture this morning was how to do and write a "proper" observation since we have a 3 hour observation lab every week for this class. I learned 3 different ways of writing observations down. I left from school and came back home. So, far today has been great!!

Hi Yall!!
Today was an awesome day!! I played outside with my brother Joseph and cousin Erica!! I ran into a tree, literally...long story there. Then I went on a walk with Erica; we saw the goats and cows.
Then we got back to Granny's and I had to get Landan away from the "big kid" game of monopoly. So, I got a bowl, wooden spoon, pretzels, graham crackers, a marshmallow, and shredded wheat cereal. He likes to "cook" so I let him. LoL!!
Then, I wished I could have slept for a few hours but I couldn't because I had to get ready for church. Tonight's service was great!! I just got home and had some chicken w/ ranch dressing and fries!! Since I have to get up early tomorrow morning, I'm about to head to bed!! Hope Monday is a great day for yall!!

Hi Yall!!
We went to the fish fry. I ate chicken. lol!! Instead of staying in the fellowship hall, I took one of the little kids (Kaden) to the Sunday school room to paint. And of course, we made a mess!! We had on gigantic paint shirts and plenty of paint and not enough stuff to paint!! Here are some of the pictures.The one with my hands, you can see where Kaden gave me high five. And no, I'm not a major hunchback. lol!!

Hi Yall!!!
It's been another good day so far!! I went to my last lab orientation today and finally understood what all I have to do and what to expect. I think this experience will be amazing and fun!!
Yesterday, I told that story about Holland and his outfit. Well, today I thought I would share the pictures of my cousins Erica, Emily and Landan (pics in order of names). Since Holland had to change his outfit, I couldn't take "serious" pictures of him in that getup! LoL!! Hope you enjoy these pictures!!

Wednesday pt 1
Hi yall!!
Today has been great so far!! I went to class this morning and a girl (Angie) asked me if I was related to another girl she knows, Meagan, because Angie had seen a picture on myspace of me, Meagan, and Meagan's friend Nikki. I told Angie that we weren't related but have known each other just about our whole lives. Anyways, I told Angie that I hadn't talked to Meagan in like forever...more like since last summer. Well, I walked into the library at Tech and who is using one of the computers?! Yep, Meagan. I went up to her and told her about what Angie had said. She laughed and then we got to catch up on each other's lives; I asked about Nikki who is about to have a baby!! It made my day being able to get the chance to talk to Meagan. lol!!
Here's a funny story that will make you chuckle!!
Every Sunday my Dad's brothers and sister and their families get together at my Papa and Granny's house for lunch and to hang out. Me, being the Sunday afternoon babysitter, watch after the 4 younger cousins: Erica (11), Emily (8), Holland (6), and Landan (2). My brother Joseph (13) tags along too. Anyways, keeping up with the kids and having something for them to do can be tough at times. Well, this past Sunday showed the creativity of Holland who tells everyone he wants to be a scientist when he grows up.
Here is the story...finally...lol
This past Sunday, I went outside to take scenery pictures. My tag along [Landan] realized I had went outside so he had to find me. He hurridly put his shoes on and ran out the door yelling "Gotta find Mary, Gotta find Mary." My brother Joseph chased him down and took Landan back into the house; Landan had put his shoes on the wrong feet and forgot to put his coat on. Then Joseph told him that they could go outside to find me. Holland chose to tag along. [Granny and Papa's house has a slopped backyard; plus it had rained the night before] So off they went down the hill to find me. I was watching them from the big trees that border the property. Joseph and Landan made it down alright but Holland didn't. He fell down and got mud all over his jeans and shoes. So, he went back to the house to change. I took some pictures of Landan and then Erica showed up so we all decided to go to the swing set.
We were there a few minutes when I spotted Holland coming out the back door. He had on a large white t-shirt, his camo coat, and a pair of my Papa's hunting boots. He didn't have a shirt or pair of jeans on underneath the big t-shirt. 
I started laughing; only Holland would come out with that getup when it was maybe 40 degrees out. (His parents had no idea of the outfit until Holland and Landan had to leave) I called Holland "Moses" and asked him if he had permission to wear that outfit and boots which of course he didn't so I sent him back in so he could change. He came back out with the same outfit but different shoes: his tennis shoes and large black socks. 
I of course took pictures because in the future, I'm sure he will appreciate them when I show them to his girlfriends and friends!! LoL!! Since I started calling him "Moses", that got the rest of the kids to. We chased him asking him for miracles but all he said was that he was going to change us into hogs. LoL!!

Hello again!!
Today has been a good day so far. My morning class didn't last the whole 3 hours today thanks to the inauguration!! My instructor wanted to watch it so we got out early!! I'm all for that!! LOL!!
I think I'm going to start blogging twice a day. (In the afternoon and at night) I know as my day goes on, I have many stories to tell!! Anyways, I think this is all for now!!
Oh, if any of yall live in the Anderson/Clemson/Seneca, SC area-ride the CAT bus. It's a free public transportation system and very entertaining. I ride it everyday except Fridays to school and I always have "funnies" about my rides!!
Guess that's all for now!!

My First Blog
I'm new at this so it might take a little while to get use to blogging everyday and remembering I started this. LoL!!
I'll start by telling a little about myself. My name is Mary and I'm currently a college student majoring in Early Childhood Development. I love my major; it is so exciting. I have a wonderful family: Mitchell, Brenda, Elisabeth, Andrew, and Joseph. I also have an amazing Granny and Papa, plus 5 uncles, 3 aunts, 9 cousins. I love my family!! I am a Christian and completely love my God and church.
My favorite colors are blues, greens, and browns; reminds me of the beach!!! I love frogs!! I love to take pictures of my family, mostly my siblings and cousins. I love to read; Karen Kingsbury is the best with Dee Henderson close behind!!! I sing in my church's choir and the teen choir; I have a wide range but I mostly sing low/mid alto. I love Sunday afternoon walks with my cousins. Jeremy Camp is my all time favorite artist!! His songs have blessed me over and over again. I like some Southern Gospel like um...DAVID PHELPS!!! He is amazing!! At Christmas time, I love to sit back and listen to Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, and the Andrews Sisters.
